CONDITIONS OF HIRE

IMPORTANT: DRIVER'S LICENSE TO BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF RENTAL

• All vehicles are hired subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Atlantic Car Hire Standard Rental Agreement.
• These terms and conditions may change from time to time.
• The group models mentioned may be altered without notice. Atlantic Car Hire reserves the right to substitute vehicles reserved with a similar vehicle should the vehicle reserved not be available at time of hire.
• Rental extension must be authorized by Atlantic Car Hire not later than two (2) days in advance. Notice of advance termination must be given two (2) days prior to the intended date of return. Should the extended rental not be authorized by Atlantic Car Hire the vehicle will not be covered by any form of excess waiver/ insurance and the vehicle shall be held at the sole risk of the renter
• Monthly Rates and One Way fees are available on request.

DRIVERS

• A valid unendorsed driver's license must be produced by the driver or any authorized co-driver at the time of rental.
• The minimum age for drivers and authorized co-drivers is 23 years of age.
• Additional drivers free of charge.
• Note: Non-nominated co-drivers are not insured.

INSURANCE / WAIVERS

• Insurance's taken out are not refundable.
• The vehicle is not covered for sandstorm-, tyres or glass damage.
• Atlantic Car Hire is not liable for death, injuries personal damage and/or loss.
• It is the renter's responsibility to return damaged vehicles outside Namibia to within the borders of Namibia.
• Vehicles replaced are charged at normal delivery/collection fees.
• In case of an accident the renter is liable for the tow in costs of the vehicle to Atlantic Car Hire Offices.

RATES

• Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
• The minimum rate charged will be for a period of 24 hours from time of pick-up to time of drop-off.
• All rates are quoted per day in Namibian Dollars.
• All rates are quoted subject to availability of vehicles.

OVER BORDER RENTALS

• No vehicle may be taken outside Namibia without prior arrangements.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

• A deposit is required.
• An authorization deposit is required on American Express, Diner's Club, Visa or Mastercard credit cards
• The rental costs are paid in full on delivery of the vehicle.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• 0 - 14 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total cost of the rental amount if applicable if vehicle is cancelled/not collected.
• 15 - 30 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total cost of the total rental amount applicable if vehicle is cancelled/not collected.
• 31 - 45 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total cost of the total rental amount applicable if vehicle is cancelled/not collected.
• 46 days prior to arrival and earlier: 20% deposit is forfeited
